The Accounts Receivables department at Iowa State University is seeking candidates to fill an analyst position.
The Analyst will insure seamless performance of system business processes which accomplish functional responsibilities core to the operations of the Accounts Receivable Office. The Analyst will be responsible for quality assurance of process flows and compliant business processes. The Analyst will complete and maintain proper revenue and expense categories as they relate to the University Receivable programs. The Analyst will continue to provide students, parents, employees and outside customers with information relating to billing, financial aid, payment options and their implications on enrollment, graduation, debt, financial literacy as well as credit management. The Analyst will provide guidance on the multiple payment options relating to deferred billings. The Analyst will collaborate with developers to provide in-depth financial reporting and account reconciliation to U.S. Department of Education, Iowa Board of Regents, Senior Administration of Iowa State University and the Government of the Student Body.
The successful candidate will have the ability to create, analyze and produce data, organize numerous projects at one time with numerous interruptions, create system enhancements and procedures, and the ability to understand and apply Federal & State Regulations, as well as University and Board of Regent Policies.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related experience; OR a Master’s degree and 3 years of related experience; OR a combination of education and/or related experience totaling 9 years unless otherwise specified under supplemental required education and experience. Experience must be at a comparable level and directly related to the duties of this position.
