Implement and maintain international agreements, proposals, contracts, budgets in conjunction with Gulf University of Science and Technology and other related activities
Respond to internal and external correspondence with a of urgency
Facilitate organizational procedures related to planning and scheduling and ensure deadlines
Attend/organize (as needed) the regularly scheduled meetings with the GUST Project Team and communicate to team pro-actively
Develop and manage short-term study abroad programs held at Missouri S&T for international students (GUST), scholars, partner university faculty and staff in conjunction with contracts
Responsible for incoming international students regarding personal adjustments issues, housing, transportations, and cross-cultural programming as needed; develop field trips and activities; act as host and prepare for protocol responsibilities as related to contracts
Develop and monitor GUST budget; ensure spending is on track in conjunction with GUST contract
Effort Verification Reporting and other reports for Office of Sponsored Programs and the Team
Develop and prepare monthly financial reports, spreadsheets/charts and share with Project Director and Investigator
Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements, documentation, and presentations to track project milestones and deliverables
Provide support to the supervisors, administration, faculty involved in the project
Maintain files, documents, emails
Coordinate, schedule and arrange meetings and travel calendars, including business and social events
Coordinate Site Visits to and from Kuwait
Assist with the contract renegotiation and renewal process
Provide contracts administrators' reports in preparation for meetings, conference calls, .
Coordinate and participate in international projects and activities associated with programs
Track payments; discuss monthly expenses with PI, Co-PI's and Project Directors
Handle disbursement allocation per agreement
Compile data, reports, presentations
Help manage relationships between the and corporate partners
Oversee compliance and adherence to fiscal requirements
Serve as Point of Contact for staff/faculty regarding active and future grant information
Assist OSP, and Co-Pi's with expense reports, correspondence, and any other duties as required
Serve as Point of Contact for the international partners, staff, faculty
Have regular interaction with internal and external entities related to the project
Arrange/Coordinate video conferences and telephone conferences between GUST Team Members to ensure efficient communication
Work with the faculty team to ensure workshops are scheduled, contractual obligations regarding annual seminars and short courses
Ensure student/scholar advising related to various immigration and academic issues are appropriately handled as related to contracts; ensure appropriate immigration documents for incoming students, scholars, administrations, visitors
Contribute to the creation of printed and online marketing materials as needed to support agreements
Create, modify and maintain web pages and social media sites in conjunction with contract
Coordinate meetings between administration and faculty as required internally and with international visitors. Develop an itinerary for visitors and assist in protocol functions
Support transportation needs of visitors to/from airport and accompanying them during travel as needed
Coordinate with academic faculty to support study abroad trips to Kuwait as appropriate
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 6 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
Minimum of five years of experience in higher education
