This Quality Improvement Consultant will be responsible for:
Education and professional support for the Dialysis unit and departmental quality improvement programs, projects and initiatives.
Educating and advising on methods, tools and techniques for monitoring and assessing quality of care and compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements.
Providing support for implementation and evaluation of hospital and unit based quality improvement programs and serving as project manager for designated programs/projects.
Designing and administering customer surveys and analyzing, interpreting and presenting results.
Collection of clinical data, data analysis, presentation of data at Dialysis Governing Body Meetings.
To qualify, you must have:
Master's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Management or a closely related field and two years of data management experience in a clinical setting is required. Equivalent combinations of education and experience in data management may substitute.
Analytical skills and the ability to resolve complex problems requiring the use of scientific, mathematical, or technical principles and in‑depth, experienced‑based knowledge.
Communication skills and the ability to persuade and negotiate with others on important matters.
This position supports the Quality Program for the Dialysis Unit. The Dialysis Program is closely regulated by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) with a particular focus on the quality program.
