The Senior Product Manager for Citi Loans will have full accountability of product ownership for customer growth, including new customer acquisition, retention of existing customers and product management. The role will be responsible for ensuring product set up, systems and controls are in place so products meet internal and regulatory requirements.
Key accountabilities include:
Drive the customer growth strategy for Citi Loans to successfully acquire new customers and gain market share in Personal Loans
Develop and maintain best-in class value propositions, product pricing and profitability management, formulating product offers, features and pricing strategies that create market differentiation
Work with Sales & Acquisition and Digital Sales teams to ensure pipeline of initiatives are in place and executed in timely manner
Lead discussions with Risk in relation to new credit scorecards, credit overlays, credit tests to maximise risk/return trade off for the business
Manage customer journey from acquisition through product set-up, on-boarding and early engagement to achieve account and balance activation (including white-label partnership Personal Loans)
Set up the retention framework and activities to ensure pro-active and re-active measures are in place to minimize attrition of customers and balances (including white-label partnership Personal Loans)
Work in partnership with internal and regional teams to drive successful outcomes and be an advocate for the Citi Loans team
Own the end-to-end product set up, product Terms & Condition, processes and customer collateral with adequate and effective checks and controls in place
Lead team of direct reports, providing strategic direction to the team and guidance on development opportunities
Take personal responsibility for resolving issues and delivering a customer centric solution
Skills and experiences required:
5-8 years of experience in financial services industry
Bachelor's degree, tertiary degree and/or professional qualifications (eg. CA/CPA) preferred but not required
Experience in product management, portfolio management or personal loans an added advantage
Highly analytical with strong sense of financial acumen
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Excellent time management skills
Highly results driven and self motivated individual
