The successful candidate will have responsibility for managing a team of 17 Link staff in the legal enforcement process of Principal Dwelling Houses ("PDH's") non-resolutions, non-engagement and repossessions for borrowers in default of their mortgage obligations.
Fully responsible for the delivery of SLA's/KPI's for the Enforcement team
Provide structure, guidance and direction to the Enforcement team. Oversee the distribution of workloads on the team and effectively plan for workload peaks & troughs, reviewing the training requirements and learning development opportunities for the team.
Proactively manage the BAU activities and client service delivery, regularly review work processes to determine possible streamlining / transformation opportunities.
Manage all stakeholders including the Link team, the client and panel solicitor firms while ensuring that service and performance delivery of panel solicitor firms is actively managed and measured.
Establish strong / effective governance structures in the Enforcement team and with the client and solicitor firms, ensuring adherence to Risk and QA requirements.
QFA/ Legal Qualification or relevant 3rd level qualification
Legal background would be desirable or working knowledge of legal framework of PDH recoveries environment, the Court process and regulatory guidelines (e.g. CCMA / MARP)
Strong background in relationship management with excellent drive, motivation, enthusiasm and commitment
Excellent organisational skills to manage workloads and ensure SLA's/KPI's delivery with a clear focus on quality and efficiency. Results focused with a particular emphasis on attention to detail
Strong leadership/management experience with an ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Ensuring positive and professional working relationships established with all stakeholders.
Proven ability to work on own initiative and bring solutions to problems in a fast paced environment.
Sound commercial acumen and excellent planning skills.
