Central Electric Power Cooperative is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Telecommunication Technician.
Duties and Responsibilities will include
Mobile and fixed location radio systems maintenance and installation
Fiber optic cable splicing, testing and trouble-shooting
Telecom Transport systems installation, testing and trouble-shooting
LAN/WAN packet technologies installation, testing and trouble-shooting
Must be able to work at heights and in inclement weather conditions. Interested individuals should have two years’ experience with a general class FCC license, NARTE or NABER certification. A minimum of a two year degree in Telecommunications or IT networking, or equivalent military telecommunications certification. Directly related experience may potentially be considered in lieu of educational requirements.
