RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Role Goldman Sachs is seeking an analyst to join the Corporate Credit Analytics team. The Corporate Credit Analytics team is responsible for standardizing and controlling data flows with respect to corporate credit positions within the Structured Finance & Lending ( SFL ) desk within the Securities Division . Responsibilities 1. Management and oversight of corporate credit data, including asset data setup, database management, and data validation 2. Understand and synthesize complex corporate financial statements into a data package that is easily consumable by SFL desk and GS internal systems 3. Ensure the flow of data underneath all of the corporate credit metrics is accurate and correct by working with clients, technology, and other internal teams 4. Reconcile data discrepancies and perform data analytics between external vendors and internal databases through research and the creation of quality control checks 5. Ensure clients provide monthly financial statements for underlying corporate credits 6. Management of performing credits that collateralize the Structured Lending portfolio 7. Facilitate communication between internal departments for shared use of data and definition 8. Involvement in project initiatives relating to the SFL business, including enhancing and developing system architecture that supports the function 9. Fulfill ad hoc data requests Qualifications 1. Bachelor of Science degree in accounting 2. Basic knowledge of Leveraged Lending market 3. Solid analytical/logical mindset 4. High attention to detail 5. Ability to prioritize workload, and work with Technology to help drive data smart solutions 6. Strong communication skills (clear, concise, and confident) 7. Able to work under tight time constraints and extended hours as required 8. Strong Excel skills a plus
