Advertised Summary Job Description: Office of Government and Community Affairs Columbia University Irving Medical Center.
Under the supervision of the Associate Vice President of Government & Community Affairs, the incumbent will support projects, events and activities undertaken by the office. He/she will work closely with office staff and community organizations to help coordinate events and programs logistics.
Other duties as assigned and as required.
General Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education, training, and experience plus three years of related experience.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills required. Detail oriented and knowledge of computer programs. Perform additional related duties as assigned.

As a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the Council of Ivy Group Presidents (Ivy League), it is imperative that members of the Columbia University community, in all matters related to the intercollegiate athletics program, exhibit the highest professional standards and ethical behavior with regard to adherence to NCAA, Conference, University, and Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and Physical Education rules and regulations.
