Procurement, Contracts and Materials Management is seeking a Procurement Manager. This is a full-time (1.0 FTE), 12-month, fixed term professional faculty position. Reappointment is at the discretion of the Assistant Procurement Director.
Procurement, Contracts and Materials Management is committed to providing strategic and valuable sourcing of goods and services to the university community. The role of the Procurement Manager is to manage the day-to-day operations of procurement and contracting needs of the University and to verify compliance within applicable laws and OSU policies and procedures. This position provides ideas and subject matter expertise while ensuring effective, efficient workflow by managing the activities and workloads of the staff.

Procurement, Contracts and Materials Management (PCMM) is a unit within the Controller's Office, which reports up to the Division of Finance and Administration (DFA) at Oregon State University. The DFA's mission is to develop and maintain the university's sound financial and internal control structure in alignment with OSU's strategic plan. PCMM directly advances the University's goals in sustaining an environment that ensures accountability of stewardship and strategic use of resources. Procurement, Contract Services, Construction Contract Administration, eProcurement and Accounts Payable assists, advises and provides oversight to OSU Colleges, Departments and Business Centers in meeting their procurement and contracting needs, and provides leadership and internal controls for year-end closing, payments, and travel. Campus Recycling develops and maintains cost effective and efficient waste management that focuses on reducing, reusing and recycling with disposal as a last resort. Surplus Property recycles or transfers surplus property back to OSU departments, state and local governments, qualified nonprofit organizations and the public.
Typically requires Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field. Recent and progressive supervisory experience with multiple staff direct-reports. Five years' experience in procurement administration.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin or a field related to the work performed; OR ten years of progressively responsible work experience in a position with similar duties.
Five years of experience in procurement administration.
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite software applications.
