This professional staff member reports to the Senior Assistant Bursar for Customer Service for all assigned functions. Assists in creating and implementing related business processes and is responsible for compliance interpretation and issues for University, Federal and State programs. Ensure the adherence to prudent financial and operational controls and managing its resources efficiently and effectively.
Application and administration of the Medical Leave of Absence Tuition Credit program, including direct guidance and support to students and families regarding the credit and other financial options.
Updates and maintains Bursar office policies and procedures.
Evaluates data analytic needs and develops departmental reports to maintain and interpret statistical analyses of departmental operations.
Schedules, organizes, and implements plans for support to One Stop (internal trigger telephone, walk-in/lobby assistance, and One Stop coverage as needed). Oversees ticket escalations from One Stop staff for Bursar assistance and intervention.
Informs, reviews, and communicates regulatory changes and potential impact on management of affected bursar procedures, serving in a cross-functional capacity with the Office of Student Financial Assistance.
Participates in departmental strategic planning and goal setting, with focus on regulations and compliance.
Direct support and guidance to students, families, and other offices to include the One Stop regarding specific accounts, financial options, policies and procedures, and general information.

Associate’s degree with three years of experience in a like position or an equivalent of education and/or experience.
