JOB DESCRIPTION: Support the implementation and adoption of standardized key performance indicators related to surgical supply chain as approved by the EHC Perioperative Governance Council. Oversee and directing the supply chain process, revenue cycle management and charge capture for EHC Surgical Services. Serve as the system leader for surgical supply chain, advising and collaborating with operating unit leaders as they carry out the vision and system strategies designed by Governance for EHC's perioperative enterprise. Facilitate consensus and adoption of supply chain standardized procedures that minimize variation and inefficiencies across the System. Work intimately with physicians and perioperative executives to negotiate optimum value throughout the EHC system. Assist and support operating units to achieve the key performance indicators focused on perioperative supply chain, as approved by the EHC Perioperative Governance Council. Manage all operating unit surgical materials management personnel. Personnel will remain at their designating operating units with a dotted line relationship to the operating unit Specialty Director or designee. Identifies and addresses opportunities for integration and standardization of supply chain process across EHC. Maintains effective collaboration and communication with Vice President, EHC Surgical Services and perioperative executives regarding surgical supply chain. Provides timely information regarding progress and accomplishments. Supports Vice President, EHC Surgical Services and operating unit perioperative leadership in the development of capital budgets, ensuring there is standardization and optimal pricing based on system economy of scale. With system and operating unit materials management leadership, negotiates and manages all contracts related to surgical supply chain. Is system liaison for all surgery vendor relationships, working collaboratively with operating units and physician leaders. Establishes and leads system Values Analysis Team for surgical services. Leads product selection committee. In collaboration with the Vice President, EHC Surgical Services and perioperative leaders, ensures that all applicable regulatory and legal standards and policies are met within the scope of the surgical supply chain. Ensures appropriate internal and external reporting of both compliance and non-compliance issues arising from surgical supply chain. Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in business or health care related field. Master's degree preferred. Six (6) years of experience in surgery supply chain management in a highly complex surgical enterprise; Previous experience in leading large scale surgical or other supply chain projects.
