The QA Analyst role is to perform testing of enhancements and defects in PMMC software products.
All duties shall be performed in accordance with organizational policies and goals at PMMC which include maintaining a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner reflecting respectful service with customers, clients, co-workers and management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The QA Analyst is responsible for testing items released from Development, and coordinates with Development and Operations staff to understand the requirements of the items, and if they are functioning as requested.
The QA Analyst is responsible for the following:
Create and execute unit testing on items assigned to them and completing test plans for those items.
Performing regression testing in a timely manner.
Create and maintain required test environments.
Create and executen necessary test environments.for a general time entry (no TFS ID).ort to # claims imported)d the initial parreate Core Test plans using Ranorex Test Automation Tool
Identifying and escalating potential quality issues to management.
To conduct & coordinate revision testing.
Generating enhancements, identifying and documenting software bugs identified during testing.

The QA Analyst II will work closely with the Manager of Testing/QA to implement and create automated testing plans.
Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned from time to time at the discretion of management.
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables. Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
Ability to read and understand business requirement documents and determine the best way to create a test plan for each item assigned to them.
Ability to compute accurate bill and reimbursement scenarios based on payer and or government regulations or requirements. The basic math skills are required (e.g., ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals). In addition to those skills, computer mathematics are required for various software analysis which are required to operate PMMC software. (Examples: disk size, memory, and file size)
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, fellow workers, clients, and customers. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret issues that arise from the data, software, or the client.
Maintains confidentiality of any PHI they are exposed to, and to conform to all PMMC and HIPAA regulations.
BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field

Ability to work in cross-functional teams across multiple levels of the organization.
MS Office products
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong process documentation skills.
MS SQL Server
Understanding of server/database structure and the ability to write basic SQL queries and correlate the results to the application front end
Experience working in an agile development environment is a plus.
Experience troubleshooting and resolving issues related to software applications using Microsoft-based applications
Defect tracking tool use
Background in test case development
Experience with automated testing tools (experience specific to Ranorex is a plus)
