Thomas Jefferson University, located in Philadelphia PA, is currently seeking a Program Director and Faculty member of Medical Laboratory Science in the Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences and Biotechnology, Jefferson College of Health Professions (JCHP). This is a full-time, 12-month faculty position, with responsibilities in the coordination of curriculum and academic standards, faculty development, teaching, scholarship, faculty governance.
The Medical Laboratory Science program enrolls 50-75 students per year at the undergraduate and graduate levels and is fully accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Science (NAACLS). Qualified applicants will possess a Masters or Doctorate degree and current MLS (ASCP) certification. In addition, qualified applicants will have a minimum of 3 years teaching experience. Demonstrated experience in Medical Lab Science education, administration, curriculum design and delivery (classroom & online) and strategic planning. NACCLS accreditation procedures a plus.
