The Episcopal School of Los Angeles Mathematics Department is seeking a teacher with an unshakable commitment to student success; whose classroom is filled with surprise & delight.
The ideal candidate has some or all of the following characteristics:
A passion and knowledge of working with a diverse student body, with a commitment to equity and inclusion,
Experience designing creative curricula and differentiating instruction for a heterogeneous study body,
Demonstrated success in the classroom with developmental needs of students across grades,
Minimum of 3-5 years of teaching experience in public, charter, parochial or independent schools,
A sense of humor and desire to work with students in grades six through eight
Teach 5 sections of Middle School mathematics (6th grade math, 7th grade pre-algebra, (introductory algebra/geometry/finite mathematics))
Preparation of course materials, both working from our existing curricular framework (CPM - College Prep Mathematics Curriculum) and through development of new materials
Participate in after-school (3:30 - 5:30) programs two days a week (sports, clubs, performing arts, academic support, etc.)

Attend regular community gatherings, including, but not limited to, meetings, Chapel, Lunch, and Major School Feasts
