Reporting to the Associate Director of the Office of Disability Services, the Part-Time Graduate Assistant will assist in oversight of note-taking services, help to schedule exams, assist with proctoring exams, assist with research regarding accommodations, and communicate with students, faculty, and staff on behalf of the office. The Part-Time Graduate Assistant will assist with the creation, implementation, and management of new communication platforms, as well as with maintaining current communications platforms. These may include social media, blogs, websites, letters, and other forms of internal college communications. This person will support the work of the entire Disability Services staff.

Required Qualification Summary:
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated interest in disability services, disability studies, and/or higher education. In addition s/he should have the following: o currently enrolled in a graduate degree program; o prior experience working in an educational environment, preferably in higher education; o prior experience working with disability services or other supportive services in an educational setting.
