National Able Network, a dynamic and growing nonprofit agency specializing in the delivery of innovative employment and training programs, seeks a high energy professional who will serve as a liaison between its Workforce Services Department and other internal agency departments as well as external partners, including funding agencies, other nonprofits and community based organizations. This will be done through client engagement, collaborative, analytical and quality services including research, developing, tracking, monitoring and communicating associated reports and data.
Conduct initial assessments and make initial determinations of eligibility for programs, prior to direction to partner program staff.
Refer customers to appropriate services throughout the Center, knowing all Partner programs, intake/eligibility requirements, hours of operation, etc.
Maintain customer tracking systems and follow established processes.
Create and generate specialized spreadsheets for monthly (or as required) reports.
Assist in the ongoing maintenance and monitoring of program performance against plans.
Liaison between departments to ensure ongoing communication and problem solving.
Participate in promoting various training services, programs and recruiting suitable candidates.
Coordinates with outside agencies including the one-stops, employers, business associations, and other partners to ensure consistent flow of services and benefits.
Networks and collaborates with senior personnel; collaboration with individuals to provide reports regarding workforce development/services and assistance to programs in areas such as: training, client/employer connections and other workforce development related programs/services.
Assist with the monitoring and coordination of processes for data sharing, updates, revision control as well as coordinating ongoing projects.
Contributes to the development of departmental goals and objectives; represents the department or function on projects and may perform in project leadership roles.
Performs other related duties as required or assigned.
May travel to various locations, as well as employer and funder locations, to build relationships and identify opportunities for clients.
Knowledge or Expertise:
Self-starter who can prioritize and manage multiple task and priorities, meet deadlines, and demonstrate consistent reliable follow-through.
High initiative, outstanding organizational skills, clear attention to detail and the ability to follow-through.
Knowledge of or direct work experience with employment/training government programs.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Knowledge of social service government systems strongly preferred.
Advanced computer proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, Excel, Access).
Associate or Advanced Degree preferred.
High School Diploma and 2 years of experience in career coaching or case management services.
Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in program operations/reporting/quality assurance ideally with a social service agency.
