PRIMARY CUSTOMERS, PARTNERS, AND TEAM: At AdventHealth University (AHU) our primary customers are students, prospective students, parents, faculty, and staff. Our partners are physicians, allied health clinicians, other employees of AdventHealth, Colleges, Local Adventist Academies & Public Schools Guidance Teams.
GENERAL SUMMARY: The International Student Enrollment Counselor will be responsible for the international student communication plan as well as regular office duties and Recruitment duties. Daily duties and responsibilities include: communicating with prospective and current students through phone calls, text messages and emails. Schedule and confirm appointments with staff. Greet & provide exceptional customer service to our guests. Engage in on and off campus recruiting events as well as help with inventory and preparation for such events. Some travel in required for this position.

Knowledge of Goldmine or any other customer relationship management system (CRM)
Prior exposure to Student & Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS)
Working understanding of US immigration and non-immigrant laws
General understanding of the International Student Process
Familiarity with government certification maintenance

Conducts phone call campaigns for prospective, applicants and current students
Ensures student and prospect data accuracy and integrity in CRM.
Provides input for the communications initiatives in CRM
Engages in on and off campus recruiting events. Helps with inventory and preparations for such events.
Schedules and confirms appointments and interviews
Builds and maintains quality interactions with Faculty and Staff members
Meets regularly and follows up with students
Keeps up with changes in international law that effect international students
