The MDM Design Developer/UKHC will lead the overall Enterprise Master Data Management architecture. This position oversees the design and development of the MDM architecture that focuses on enterprise strategic goals; provides overall MDM tool leadership during the design and build of MDM solution components; provides best business practices, expert advice, counsel and state of the art technical leadership to ensure successful deployment of best-in-class MDM solutions; leads application and data quality efforts pertaining to master data; provides expert technical leadership in continuous quality improvement for the master data management services; participates in Data Governance activities as assigned. This position is responsible for ensuring best business practices exploitation of the capabilities, functions, and features of UKHCMDM tool sets and platforms.
Qualified candidates must have a good knowledge of Data quality tools, including data profiling, cleansing and identity resolution, preferably with IBM InfoSphere Master Data Management. This individual should have experience with Business Process Modeling. Qualified candidates should have experience with best practices driven design and development, installation, and performance tuning of an MDM product, as well as match rule tuning to ensure timeliness and quality of deliverables. This individual should have experience performing solution design, implementing MDM solutions, and supporting robust and complex MDM initiatives. This individual must have experience interpreting business needs and converting them into technical requirements, including defining use cases and test scenarios. Qualified candidates have experience participating in Quality Assurance (QA) code reviews on MDM components and conducting regression testing within the MDM repository. This individual should have experience with SQL, TSQL or PL/SQL, Java, and experience with scripting languages. The ideal candidate has been exposed to data governance solutions, has experience in data and information modeling, and is able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Master's Degree and 6+ years of information technology experience. Healthcare industry exposure preferred, but not required.
