Assists with implementation of business processes.
Maintains and develops research gathering, retrieval and reporting systems.
Recruits, trains, and supervises undergraduate research assistants for the lab.
Conducts weekly lab meetings and schedules, manages student hours/time sheets.
Responsible for administrative tasks associated with running subject pools and lab facilities: e-mail and communications; website maintenance; coordinating lab space scheduling.
Assists in lab set up, oversees installation and programming of appropriate software
Gathers and analyzes research data; prepares and summarizes information and/or recommendations.
Provides direct research and support to the lab director, including lit searches; developing study materials; preparing course materials; assisting with grant writing and IRB submission; preparing papers for publication; preparing slides for talks, and other duties as needed.
Prepares reports and/or analysis for internal department constituents.
Provides direct research and support to the faculty and graduate students in the lab, including but not limited to data coding and entry; running experiment sessions; designing studies, presentation and publication support, and providing other research support as needed.
Working knowledge of research function; experience with unique priorities and demands of lab-based experimentation.
Strong skills in statistical analysis, research and database design and data security measures.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner both verbally and written.
Ability to manage and lead a team.
Self-starter with initiative, sound judgment, and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong organization and prioritizing skills; ability to multi-task with demonstrated ability to see projects through to completion.
Ability to successfully balance multiple projects with competing deadlines is essential.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ability to easily learn new software programs.

Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training
Experience in SPSS, WordPress, Endnote, Direct RT, eprime, MediaLab, Inquisit, SurveyMonkey, and web hosting platforms.
Experience with computer-based experimentation and web studies (e.g., MTurk, Qualtrics).
Research experience in social psychology or cultural psychology lab.
It is preferred that the laboratory coordinator's research interests align with the CDIRL (e.g., social psychology with a focus on diversity and inclusion).
Salary & Benefits This is a non-exempt, bi-weekly paid position. Hourly pay will be commensurate with experience within the hourly range of $26.39-$28.20.
