Internal Audit assists the University management, administration and the Board of Trustees in the effective discharge of their fiduciary and administrative responsibilities by providing independent, objective assurance and consulting services with respect to evaluating risk management, control, and governance processes.
UK Internal Audit seeks to employ a IT Auditor professional to provide assessment to the University for risks resulting from current business practices. This position is responsible for conducting and assisting Audit Activity in the areas of Information Technology, Data Analytics and Business Operations. Responsibilities include developing recommendations to mitigate risk; being objective while evaluating internal controls regarding university financial and operational systems; and identifying opportunities for business unit enhancements, and internal efficiency and effectiveness.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, have good communication skills and the ability to work with multiple personalities. The IT auditor will be involved in the planning and execution of internal audit procedures and the creation of internal audit reports. The auditor must work within a team to create a solid information technology infrastructure, and collaborate with clients to devise and put in place policies and procedures regarding network security issues.
ACL, computer hardware and software, networking, programming, Active Directory, root cause determination, analytical, organizational, flowcharting, and logical thinking CISA.

Required License/Registration/Certification :
Computer Programming, Information Technology, and Engineering CISA, IT-oriented certifications, and Driver’s license preferred.
