This is an anticipated opening for a full time tenure track faculty member. The goals of this faculty position are to teach undergraduate level courses in Mathematics and Statistics as well as any other related courses; and to share with other faculty members the common responsibilities for the governance of the College. Faculty are expected to be committed to academic excellence and continuous improvement; to working collaboratively and effectively with others (faculty, staff, and administrators); to supporting and contributing to diversity and student success initiatives; to developing and implementing assessment of student learning outcomes; and to remaining current in their subject area and teaching methodologies.
1.Teach a normal load of 15 credit hours per semester with a maximum of 30 contact hours per academic year starting no earlier than August 25 and ending no later than June 25, and covering our entire spectrum of college-level Mathematics courses.
2.Conduct classes as scheduled by the department chair/coordinator/dean.
3.Start class on time and conduct class for the full scheduled time period.
