The Manager, Compensation is a part of the Thresholds Talent Management Team, reporting to the Director, Benefits, Compensation & HRIS will plan, develop and implement compensation programs and develop, implement and maintain a salary administration plan, and ensure policies and procedures respond to organization goals as well as the competitive marketplace. The Compensation Manager ensures that the Thresholds compensation plan design and procedures are consistently administered in compliance with government rules and regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Research and develop a Salary Administration plan and populate/maintain the HRIS Compensation module.
Plays a lead role in the design and administration of base pay and incentive programs, including financial modeling. Leads design and ensures functions are aligned with business needs and expectations.
Administers the market-pricing and job grading process to ensure external competitiveness and internal equity.
Seeks out surveys to participate in and/or purchase to ensure up to date market data. Conducts ad-hoc surveys and market research to identify market trends and monitor market-sensitive jobs.
Manages compensation survey input and analysis, including data collection, running reports, job matching, and interfacing with survey vendors.
Conducts ad-hoc surveys and market research to identify market trends and monitor market-sensitive jobs.
Ability to interpret and provide insights of the analysis and present to leadership in a concise and effective manner to influence decision making; create presentations of compensation strategy and analysis for use with senior management.
Manages the position description development and job classification process to ensure consistency throughout Thresholds.
Responsible for partnering with TM colleagues to lead, educate and provide direction of the compensation activities, programs, policies and year-end processes.
Develop and implement training programs for supervisors related to compensation regulations such as FLSA or the salary quote process.
Provides data reports to Clinical Leadership, to ensure they have all relevant information for the calculation of the semi-annual clinical Pay for Performance bonus payments.

MARGINAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
May be required to work a flexible schedule as required by supervisor.
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration required. Master’s Degree preferred.
Minimum of six (6) to eight (8) years of applicable work experience including designing variable pay programs required.
Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to interpret data, build useable spreadsheets, summarize results and make recommendations.
Experience in mental health a plus.
Experience with Not-for-Profit healthcare organizations desired.
PHR, CEBS or CCP a plus
