Sundodger Creative acts as the internal creative communications unit serving the University of Washington Intercollegiate Athletic Department. As a key service unit of ICA's integrated marketing and communications platform, Sundodger is tasked with shepherding departmental brand identity and exposure through the development and execution of creative content, marketing collateral, sales and sport campaigns, and revenue-generation activations. Via direction from and collaboration with Sundodger Creative staff, the Digital Design Coordinator will be primarily responsible for the creation of visual assets to be used on GoHuskies.com and Washington ICA social media properties with an active focus on Olympic sports.
Collaborate with multiple business units within ICA (marketing, tickets, IMG, development, communications, etc.) to fulfill graphic design requests for a variety of initiatives and platforms.
Act as primary creative lead and contact for digital graphic design requests.Compliance with the rules and regulations of the University, the NCAA, the Pac-12 Conference, the State of Washington and any other governing body is of paramount importance to the University. The overall responsibility of this position is for the successful operation of the program in full compliance with all such rules and regulations. As a condition of employment, the Employee shall be required to participate in rules education programs offered by the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics.Requirements -One year of graphics, illustration or related college-level art training OR one year of related experience OR an equivalent combination of experience and training.Additional Requirements -
Must be fluent in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign).
Must have examples of published work to demonstrate graphic design skills.
Open to receiving feedback and being able to implement it via project execution.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and at times under tight deadlines.
Understanding of and commitment to adhere to University of Washington Athletics brand guidelines.
Must comply with the rules and regulations of the University, the NCAA, the Pac-12 Conference, the state of Washington, and other governing bodies.Preferred Qualifications -
Knowledge of sports graphic design.
