Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Kentucky has one opening for a Program Manager to manage four Aviation Maintenance Technician Schools in eastern Kentucky. This position is responsible for daily operation, education integrity and procedural compliance of the Aviation Maintenance Program for four AMT schools in the following locations: EKU Richmond campus/Central Kentucky Regional Airport, Richmond, KY EKU Manchester campus, Manchester, KY/London-Corbin Regional Airport, London, KY EKU Corbin campus in Corbin, KY/London-Corbin Regional Airport, London, KY Big Sandy Community & Technical College, Prestonsburg, KY/Big Sandy Regional Airport, Debord, KY Hazard Community & Technical College, Hazard/Wendell H. Ford Regional Airport, Hazard, KY Responsibilities:
Serve as the liaison between the Aviation Maintenance Program and EKU's AMT Schools' Director of Regional Stewardship.
Preference to those who can serve as an Instructor when class size, or instructor absence, necessitates if FAA A&P certified
Help to build FAA curriculum and be available for initial and all subsequent FAA inspections
Audit all Aviation Maintenance Program curricula to ensure that instructors are using the most current syllabi, lesson plans, and textbooks as indicated on the intranet site.
Ensure that the Aviation Program operates in compliance with the regulatory agencies governing our schools.
Provide academic advising services to Aviation Maintenance Program students.
Work with the EKU's AMT Development team to design and fabricate training aids that will help meet the requirements of the Aviation Maintenance Curriculum.
