Reporting to the Senior Associate Vice President for Graduate Enrollment Management (SAVP), the position will be responsible for managing the strategic initiatives identified that will help meet thegraduate enrollment goals and build the University’s brand and name recognition. The incumbent will implement and supervise initiatives set forth by the SAVP
SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Senior Associate Vice President for Graduate Enrollment ManagementCORE DUTIES:
Identify potential universities (domestic and international), industry and government partners for collaboration
For international universities, assist in establishing partnerships with universities (as defined in the University potential partner criteria) in target countries; in addition to faculty and administrator connections leverage organizations like IIE, Education USA, NAFSA etc. to identify and connect with potential partner universities
For domestic universities, leverage faculty and administrator connections to identify potential partners as well as connections made through local and national organizations, career fairs, and college/university visits etc.
Following visits by the deans or administrators to foreign universities ensure prompt follow-up and closure of discussions and working to create MoU’s.
Work closely with the Provost’s Office to create/review articulation agreements ensuring a timely response to our partner universities
Serve as the point of contact for all agents, providing them information needed to recruit for our programs; providing agents with marketing materials and relevant information to ensure they can provide such information to interested students
Process and pay all international agent invoices
Work closely with the appropriate counterparts in the partner schools to advertise and market the degree programs; supporting webinars, travel (domestic and international) when needed
Work with the operations team to ensure all inquiries/leads are entered into the CRM and a communication plan setup for these prospects for each partner; ensure appropriate unique source codes for each partner is created and accurately associate the students with these codes
Nurture existing and new partnerships to build a rapport between the partner schools; ensuring faculty collaboration to solidify the partnership
Participating and supporting university partner visits to campus
Utilizing the CRM create, maintain and track progress of all students attending the University as part of these partnerships
Collaborate with the recruitment team to identify student recruitment opportunities in cities/states/countries leveraging partner networks
Assist in identifying potential industry and government partners
Participate in educational/career fairs to showcase University graduate programs
Responsible for tactical partner relationship management, nurturing existing partnerships, and coordinating with them in scheduling/conducting information sessions onsite, offsite and online to provide information about the University graduate programs
Assisting all prospective students with applying to the University and ensuring their success in their degree programs
Working with the Operations team to create and execute a communication plan in the CRM for industry/government partner inquiries, leads and yield activities
Be available to travel within the US and international for recruitment when needed
With direction from the SAVP perform outreach activities to build the brand and reputation of the University
Education (Required): Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
Experience (Required): Bachelor’s Degree Required. Graduate degree or equivalent preferred. 3+ years experience working in college recruitment.
Other Skills: Ability to work collaboratively with people from different parts of the world and sensitive to cultural norms in those countries. The individual must have excellent written and oral communication, outreach, public speaking/presentation and networking skills. Candidates must demonstrate strong organizational skills; the ability to professionally interact and communicate with internal and external constituents, multitask, attention to detail and work to aggressive deadlines is of great importance. Excellent project and time management skills. Highly skilled in the use of MS Office Suite, CRM tools are required; a motivated and enthusiastic work style.
The ability to professionally represent the University is of great importance. A commitment to excellence in customer service is mandatory. Willingness to travel internationally for recruitment, work non-traditional hours, including early morning, evening and weekends during peak times is necessary and expected. This position requires a valid US Passport, a valid US driver’s license and a safe driving record.
