Responsibilities include assisting with the operations and administration of the Ohio Articulation and Transfer Network (OATN). Responsibilities include human resource liaison, communications, and event planning plus the coordination of numerous meetings and committees along with support with budget and memorandum of understanding/contract process. Position provides direct support to the Associate Vice Chancellor of Articulation and Transfer/Executive Director of the Ohio Articulation and Transfer Network with the implementation of the Ohio Department of Higher Education goals and the OATN goals.
Bachelor’s Degree and two years administration experience or Associate’s Degree and four year of administrative experience; Strong writing skills; Budget experience; Ability to be organized, self-motivated, flexible, responsible and to effectively manage a variety of duties; Ability to communicate effectively in person and by telephone; Ability to interact effectively with multiple constituencies; Ability to provide leadership and direction in a highly independent manner; Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet applications, and database management required; Proficient in Microsoft Applications software (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
Bachelor's Degree; Experience in higher education and articulation and transfer.
Essential Functions and percent of time::
50% Assist with the operations of the Ohio Articulation and Transfer Network office; support assigned staff and/or student personnel; act as human resource liaison; oversees event planning implementation, logistics and coordination of numerous meetings and committees; support with numerous budgets and manage Memorandum of Understanding/Contract process; 10% Compile and analyze information; conduct research on various issues as assigned by the Associate Vice Chancellor for Articulation and Transfer; prepare and disseminate reports to various constituencies and government agencies. 10% Serve as liaison between Associate Vice Chancellor of Articulation and Transfer and internal/external constituents. 10% Draft and revise written communications and documents on behalf of the Associate Vice Chancellor of Articulation and Transfer. 5% Oversee and coordinate the Associate Vice Chancellor of Articulation and Transfer's calendar; make appropriate travel arrangements; schedule meetings and coordinate agendas. 5% Maintain membership lists of various committees and faculty review panels; establish listservs when necessary, currently maintains 50+ listservs. 5% Attend meetings and prepare informational briefs and summaries; serve on committees. 5% Perform other duties as assigned.
