We are currently seeking a Advancement and Database Associate to join our dynamic team.
This role will be an integral part of the advancement team, working closely with all members of the Advancement Office. We seek an individual, who will focus on gift processing, database integrity, data analysis, system enhancements and overall fundraising support.
Reports to: Director of Institutional Advancement
Process all gifts and manage deposit, credit card, stock and online donation processes
Responsible for all acknowledgement letters for all constituencies and funds
Maintain records in Veracross database and provide reports on prospects, donors, alumni, giving and events
Work with Business Office to execute deposits, reconcile reports and prepare for audits
Manage matching gift program, third party donors and donor advised funds
Provide weekly/monthly reports for status in campaign, annual fund and prospect management
Develop and manage data analysis as it related to fundraising and donor recognition
Create and provide queries, reports, correspondence and mailing lists from Veracross database
Train and provide technical support for Advancement Team
Assist in event preparations and help at special events, as needed
Manage Veracross event registration
Identify and provide research for individual major donors, foundations and prospects
Stay informed on trends in prospect research and online search
Generate pledge reminders
Provide procedures for data input standards
Prepare all lists for Annual Report
Support the members of the Advancement Team as needed
Other duties as required
3-5 years of Veracross Database experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet research
Responsible person who takes pride in database management
Strong interpersonal skills, as well as experience working on teams
Should have an understanding of major donors, alumni relations, annual giving, special events and constituent relations
Ability to handle multiple projects, balance priorities and meet deadlines
Organized and independent worker, cooperative attitude and willingness to learn
Superb communication skills, both verbal and written
Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks
Strong attention to detail
Salary: commensurate with experience
