This position serves to recruit new students and provide academic advising to students in the Law & Justice and Political Science degree programs with a focus on under-represented populations, particularly Latino/Hispanic (Latinx).
Bachelor’s degree in Law & Justice, Political Science, or related social science
Experience or knowledge of public service careers, including local, regional or state government or non-profit and community-based organizations
Demonstrated interest in working with Latinx communities
Excellent interpersonal, written, communication, presentation, and listening skills
Experience presenting information to diverse groups, such as faculty, staff, students,prospective students and family members
Experience using MS Office software, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
OR applicable combination of education and/or experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position
