AVP, Business Technology Controls Officer, will be responsible for executing and supporting with development of a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy for TDS & TBSM aligned with TRMIS policies, standards and programs. Such program should satisfy the TDS and TBSM's business needs and regulatory requirements.
Additional core responsibilities of the incumbent in this role includes:
Developing a modernization and controls remediation strategy based on a risk based approach working with Technology and Business leadership
Directing and approving the execution of the controls strategy for TDS & TBSM in line with the enterprise TRMIS group policies & standards
Driving responses and execution of resolution of IT related issues escalated by internal (TRIMIS, ORM, Audit etc.) and external partners (external audit, Regulators etc,) on-time and according to required standards/appropriate risk mitigation
Leading and delivering segment vulnerability management programs, and key performance indicator (KPI) dashboards for reporting on progress and readiness to executive stakeholders as defined and mandated by TRMIS and other stakeholders (Audit, Regulators etc.)
Responsible for ensuring that the TDS & TBSM's intent regarding IT risk management and risk control is applied consistently in practice within the entire group
Guiding and measuring TDS & TBSM stakeholders ability to align and apply IT policies, control objectives and standards with regulatory, contractual and internal requirements
Understanding Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) methodologies and tools to support structured, traceable, and repeatable processes
Assisting control owners in understanding and responding to audit and improvement areas identified
Driving continuous improvement over TDS & TBSM TS risk/control profile
Implementing self-audit/monitoring/assessment to maintain a healthy control environment
Deep knowledge and experience in the field of Information Security
Strong understanding of cyber security trends and events
Working knowledge of Wholesale banking businesses, or equivalent knowledge from other financial institutions
Working knowledge of policies, standards and operating procedures in large organizations relating to information security risk
Information Security certification e.g. CISSP, CISSLP, GIAC etc.
Advanced analytic skills
Highly developed communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong relationship management skills
