We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Manager, Data and Information Management.
Assist and support Data Governance teams in prioritizing the Critical Data Elements based on Stakeholders' requirements
Engage with stakeholders to capture and define data quality requirements
Define Data Quality Business rules, Data Standards and Technical Rules
Perform data profiling including using the Data Quality business rules
Develop Data Quality measures to be displayed on interactive dashboards and reports based on stakeholders requirements
Review data profiling output, engage with Stakeholders and Data Stewards to log all issues and data incidents, prioritizing the issues by understanding their impact on the business.
Perform Root Cause Analysis
Manage data quality issues to their resolution
Provide management reporting and visibility on progress of fixing issues, and escalate when appropriate based on Data Quality Issue Management process.
Act as Subject Matter Experts and data domain experts to help the issue owners to create the most effective approach to remediation
Implementing root cause solutions to data issues
Perform data standardization and data cleansing activities
Develop data matching and data deduplication routines
Work effectively with other resources within Group Data Management Office and RBWM Data and Information Management organization
Work with a team of data quality experts at the Group and GB and GF levels
Coordinate data management activities across Insurance CDO office, Insurance Risk data management and Finance Data and Systems teams
Promote teamwork by being an excellent communication across varied geographies and cultures
A good understanding of data quality and data governance within a banking or insurance environment
Good knowledge of data regulations like BCBS, GDPR, applicable to Insurance in multiple geographies
Proven passion for the data quality and data management discipline
Good business and data analysis skills
Strong Data profiling and data discovery skills
Strong experience with data profiling and quality toolsets
Strong Root cause analysis skills
Data Standardization and cleansing
Strong experience of designing and developing interactive Data Quality Dashboards and reports
Good IT skills including Excel, VBA, and SQL
Relational database understanding
Demonstrated knowledge of data structure, data systems or tools and related software and data management policies and practices in a complex organizational environment
Good stakeholder engagement skills
Excellent Problem solving and attention to details skills
Ability to plan and prioritize work
Demonstrated knowledge of Financial Services, including Insurance, Banking, Wealth Management, and Capital Markets, business processes and resultant information needs, for example, client, risk, regulatory, finance
Proven ability to meet established deadlines
A flexible and adaptable approach to change and will support others to respond in a similar way
Ability to work with little or no supervision
