The Foundation Trainee is responsible for providing a comprehensive and effective service to clients in conjunction with Service Line Fee Earners. Gaining an understanding of fundamental corporate secretarial statutory procedures and best practice. Developing transferable skills such as client service & team work. Working flexibly with colleagues to ensure appropriate and necessary client delivery at all times. Opportunity to undertake professional company secretarial qualifications if desired.
Creation and maintenance of statutory registers.
Management of historical legal statutory registers.
Collation of training documentation for client training activities.
Organisation and preparation of documentation for filing with the Registrar of Companies or other legal bodies.
Management of client post forwarding in line with client instructions.
Assist fee earners with invoicing activities for clients.
Undertake other ad-hoc duties to support service line fee earners as and when required.
Data input and maintenance as required and other tracking tools as required (e.g. company secretarial databases/master client list).
Developing company secretarial knowledge through reading and attendance at in-house training workshops.
Assisting with the completion of 'Know your Client' procedures for all clients.
Assisting Head of Corporate Secretarial Services with monthly and adhoc completion of financial information and reporting.
Assisting with the preparation of Board and Committee packs.
Able to follow a defined process.

Key knowledge and experience:
Demonstration of a high level of education attainment.
Acquired experience in an office administration role
Proficient in all MS office packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
Fluent in both written and spoken English.
