Oglethorpe of Georgetown Behavioral Hospital is seeking a registered nurse licensed in the State of Ohio for a Director of Nursing position.
The Director of Nursing directs all day-to-day operations of the Nursing Department and staff to ensure the delivery of quality general and psychiatric nursing care to adult and geriatric patients hospitalized for treatment of psychiatric problems. Monitors the effectiveness of staff e.g., assessment, evaluation and implementation of the standards of nursing practice.
Must possess effective team communication skills, collaboration, and coordination of care to assume an active leadership role with the hospital’s governing body, senior leadership, medical staff, management, and other clinical leaders in the hospital’s decision-making structure and process.

Educational requirements: BSN required; Master’s in Nursing or other health related field preferred or in process.
Two (2) years’ experience in management, leadership positions required.
Four (4) years’ experience in Psychiatric or substance abuse required.
