We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Manager, Major Incidents, ASP CMB.
Be actively involved in the deep dive into all major incidents across ASP CMB and ensure root causes are properly identified
The ability to understand relevant macro and regulatory trends and to translate these into potential risks and identify with control owners how these may impact CMB
Work with CMB Management, Control Owners and with the second and third lines defense to ensure Management Action Plans and other relevant remedial activities are designed in a clear and effective manner and properly documented in the appropriate systems or governance forums
Ability to review, identify and challenge end to end control owners on potentially identified risks or known issues
Enforcing robust risk governance and ensuring Risk Owners, Control Owners and Stakeholders manage key risks and remediation activity in a timely manner
Undertake all relevant reporting on identified issues on relevant systems for example Helios Management
Ability to build relationships by communicating, influencing and negotiating effectively with senior managements teams across the entire ASP region including Home Market, Scale and Network markets
Ability to use initiative to resolve issues, whilst dealing with a diverse range of stakeholders and team members
Ability to articulate complex issues in a succinct manner to senior management
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels across the Group.
Championing and embedding best practice management
Support the Head of Major Incidents on adhoc task as required
Previous experience in risk management within a global organisation, working across cultures, within a complex matrix structure and across a broad regulatory landscape.
Ability to present complex issues across a range of processes, controls and operating environments confidently and concisely to Executives using simple language to accommodate globally distributed stakeholders.
Ability to build enduring relationships with senior stakeholders across the region through effective communication, influence and negotiation.
Skilled decision-maker, making considered and timely decisions particularly when under pressure to resolve issues holistically and comprehensively.
Risk and control subject matter expertise across a range of risks, including but not limited to credit, operational, legal, product and transactional risks.
Ability to distil complex and varied information into useful, insightful and concise recommendations and solutions.
Ability to identify, assess and communicate the need for risk mitigation across a complex group of stakeholders.
Understand and translate strategy into own Function, aligning directions accordingly
Be ambitious about providing the highest standards of delivery and embedding them in the team
