Saint Louis University, a Catholic Jesuit institution dedicated to student learning, research, health care, and service seeks applicants for Certified Nurse Midwife in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Women's Health. The ideal provider will be committed to working in a collaborative team environment with a diverse and multicultural patient/provider population. Under general supervision, provides care to mothers and babies through the maternity cycle of antepartum, intrapartum, post-partum and neonatal for the medically uncomplicated patient. Provides gynecological care including family planning. Performs testing, referral to physicians as needed, writes prescriptions, and performs administrative procedures within the scope of expertise, protocols an available equipment. May perform administrative support functions as required.
1 or more years practicing as a CNM
Current AMCB certification
Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program and BLS certification
Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.
Hospital experience preferred
