The Morgan Stanley Virtual Engagement Associate role is a unique opportunity to prepare and develop the skillset for a career in the Wealth Management division of the financial services industry. Virtual Engagement Associate - Client Development Group will work in a centralized location to provide support to Financial Advisors. They will focus primarily on generating operating leverage and faster growth through the consistent deployment of digital tools that disseminate, track and develop relevant content, tools and analyses to clients and prospects. Virtual Engagement Associate - Client Development Group will leverage Morgan Stanley's state-of-the-art tools on behalf of experienced Financial Advisors, helping them develop their business and increase client engagement and capture assets. If successful in the role, Virtual Engagement Associates will have the option to transition into a sales role for example, the two-year Wealth Advisor Associate (WAA) program). Position Summary The Client Development Group (CDG) is responsible for strategically connecting Morgan Stanley Wealth Management (WM) clients and prospects to all areas of the firm. CDG drives revenue and asset capture through client/prospect engagement, building and deepening WM client relationships and identifying cross-divisional opportunities. This role requires working closely with senior management, field management and FAs to create customized engagements for the Firm's Ultra High Net Worth clients, prospects & strategic initiatives. Virtual Engagement Associate - Client Development Group Job Responsibilities:
Prepare, organize, and manage presentations for: conferences, client and prospect meetings and senior management
Assist the CDG team in executing all aspects of current strategic initiatives and senior management requests for Financial Advisors
Create and maintain content for customized engagements
Support in securing speakers to present at Briefings
Track and maintain monthly metrics around Briefing results and special priority projects
Work collaboratively and cross functionally with other aspects of the Firm to achieve CDG's goals and assignments.
Must hold a Bachelor's degree with at least three years professional experience in finance, business development, management, sales, legal, accounting, education, military, or other business-related field.
Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) and Series 7 preferred, required within 4 months of joining.
Possess exemplary communication, presentation and time-management skills.
Stay organized, focused, and highly disciplined. Be able to keep track of simultaneous competing needs of their assigned Financial Advisors and execute on all necessary actions in a timely manner.
Seek constructive feedback and coaching from both management and Financial Advisors, actively using it to improve how they approach future tasks.
Proactively analyze client relationships and make recommendations to Financial Advisors on how to supplement the client experience and deliver the whole firm for the benefit of our clients.
Establish, maintain and support strong working relationships with their Financial Advisors.
Demonstrate accountability and a strong work ethic to promote confidence and trust in their work.
Be authorized to work in the U.S. without durational restrictions.
Successfully complete background check and pre-employment assessments.
