Roles and responsibilities:
As a member of the SE Asia ECM desk, your role will cover all aspects of ECM execution and origination work and interact extensively within both ECM and IBC&A groups.
Be in tune with equity and equity related new issue processes across the product spectrum including but not limited to IPOs, Follow-on Offerings and block trades.
Support the team with the creation of reports and pitching materials.
Work on specific end to end transactions including upkeep of deal timelines, roadshow co-ordination and marketing material preparation in the various markets including post deal settlement support and execution.
Fostering a strong working relationship with the sales team, traders, research analysts and both buy and sell side customers to identify suitable investors across the respective selling channels.
Skills and qualification:
3 to 5 years of relevant experience;
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills with a good attitude in growing yourself as a professional in the financial industry.
Genuine interest in the ECM space and aptitude for understanding companies and stocks through fundamental analysis, financial statements and valuation;
In-depth understanding of the Asian and International Capital markets.
Strong quantitative analysis skills;
Proficient in Microsoft Office PowerPoint, Word and Excel and a working knowledge of Bloomberg
