This role is based within the Equities, Commodities & Hybrids Team, in the EMEA Capital Markets division. It involves directly covering CPB clients, for all of their Equity advisory and execution needs. This includes cash equity, derivatives and structured solutions, across all equity markets.
This team advises and executes on all equity product in the Citi Private Bank. The team is part of the joint venture between Citi Private Bank (CPB) and Markets & Securities Services (MSS).

Part of the integrated Equities client coverage team, delivering ideas and investment strategy recommendations, as well as providing the highest level of advice and execution, to very active Citi Private Bank equity trading clients, directly and indirectly.
Actively market and develop a dedicated client base of around 35 sustainable client accounts, in order to achieve business revenue and service objectives. Identify client needs and objectives within overall investment objectives and match to service delivery capabilities. Marketing the platform and the brand to assist in coding of new direct coverage clients to the Equities desk.
Working in close partnership with Citi Research to filter, develop and apply market intelligence to enhance client portfolios using tailored cash and structured solutions.
Maintain rigorous risk management approach with clients, on their exposures and risk tolerance.
Responsible for increasing sales across the full and integrated Equities product set, from cash equities (single stock, basket, index) to structured solutions (listed derivatives, OTC derivatives and structured products).
Communicate, deliver and close on client investment proposals and new account introductions, as part of the integrated global capital markets team.
Ensure conformity with global firm standards of client service, regulatory, compliance, and operating model.
Increase connectivity and engagement between CPB and MSS.
Help with the design and implementation of strategic projects, as we look to up-scale, expand and integrated the product and service platforms.
Exposure to all areas of the CPB business across EMEA and gain a good understanding and insight into the Wealth Management business
Technical development through exposure to markets and research
Part of a globally integrated capital markets team
Understanding the importance of a strong risk and control framework
Full dynamic and influential exposure to the client coverage and product development and implementation
Experience in sales and trading of Equity products required
Sales or Sales/Trading background in UK, European and US equities required
Strong knowledge and experience in derivatives
Exposure to UHNW Wealth Management clients would be beneficial
Good interpersonal and communication skills essential
Strong analytical and IT skills essential
Ability to develop strong working relationships across functional and geographical lines
Ability to work to tight deadlines.
Fluent spoken and written English. An additional language to English is beneficial

Preferably Degree educated, however, exceptional candidates who do not meet this criteria may be considered provided they have the necessary skills and experience
