This position is within the Financial Stress Testing (FST) group, which is a Workstream within the Bank's fast-paced and highly visible Stress Testing program, with one of the main deliverables being CCAR/DFAST. FST focuses on PPNR (i.e. Pre-Provision Net Revenue), which includes Loan volumes, Deposits volumes, Fee Income and Expenses. Stress Testing deliverables will include external (e.g. CCAR / DFAST) and internal (e.g. Enterprise Wide Stress Testing) requirements.
The primary focus of this position is the overall PPNR Support which includes: coordinating of FST Documentation inclusive of managing the Model Risk Management (MRM) system, Governance & Control, assistance in the Aggregation and Analysis of PPNR Results and the Preparation of Presentations for Senior Executives and Committees.
Coordinating Model Development Reports, Model Monitoring Reports and One-Time Requirements from Model Validation.
Single source of contact with MRM for documentation and MRM tool purposes.
Coordinating the Whitepaper development process.
Coordination with Data Governance and Internal Audit.
Updating Process Map and Control Procedures.
Tracking Effective Challenge items from the Lines of Business and Committees.
Assistance in tracking major Model Assumptions and Limitations / Weaknesses.
Assistance in the aggregation and analysis of PPNR Results (Loan and Deposit Volumes, Fee Income, Non-Interest Expense, and Net Income Before Taxes), and the preparation of presentations for Senior Executives and Committees.
Performing functions/activities from end to end independently, and acting as information resource for others in their own area, when needed.
Working effectively across multiple business units with numerous stakeholders to deliver advanced analytics solutions.
Identifying and recommending opportunities to enhance productivity, effectiveness and operational efficiency.
Must be eligible for employment under regulatory standards applicable to the position.
Bachelor's degree, preferred in in Finance, Accounting or Statistics.
5-7 years related experience required.
Strong project co-ordination skills and willingness to work flexible hours when up against tight deadlines.
In-depth knowledge of financial analysis, financial model-building and interpretive statistics.
Trading or portfolio management experience in fixed income.
Ability to successfully plan, develop, lead, and execute projects.
Ability to effectively interpret, select appropriate techniques, take independent action, communicate and follow-through.
Strong communications skills, both written and verbal.
Strong interpersonal and consultative communication skills with well-developed presentation skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities effectively, making good decisions based on business priorities and objectives.
Practical knowledge of financial analysis techniques and methodologies.
Ability to employ complex analytical tools and statistics to perform analysis and forecasting of financial and other business information.
Knowledge and understanding of budgeting and forecasting processes.
Knowledge of accounting and the associated rules and regulations.
