Key responsibilities As part of the team, you will be required to:
Assist in preparing origination /marketing materials to pitch new transaction ideas to clients. You will beinvolved in the ECM coverage effort for a variety of corporate clients acrossindustries and countries. You will work closely together with other corporatefinance / capital markets teams within the bank (debt capital markets,acquisition & leveraged finance, investment banking coverage & industryteams, mergers and acquisitions, equity derivatives, Sales & Trading).
Take part in origination and executionof Equity Linked transactions led by J.P. Morgan. The Equity Linked team isresponsible within the broader ECM platform for the oversight of execution of Convertiblestructures.
Draft market updates to corporateclients on a regular basis.
Understand the pricing of variousconvertible structures and help with the development of pricing tools
Work together with corporate clientsand transaction lawyers
Equity Linked experience
Excellent academic credentials,ability to multi-task, organized, rigorous
Interest in capital markets andcorporate finance
Excellent quantitative andanalytical skills
Ability to effectively interactwith sales people, as well as corporate clients and other banks as part ofworking groups on projects
Ability to work within a team,in a fast moving, results-driven environment
Ability to work independentlyand to take initiatives
Strong communication skills
This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. Thesuccessful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatoryrequirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence(as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK FinancialConduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out suchactivities.
