Compensation, Compensation-Executive, Total Rewards
This position will be responsible for coordination of company compensation programs as well as developing and implementing compensation strategies and programs for the company. This position works closely with subject matter experts, management and senior management of the company. This position works with extremely confidential and sensitive date and requires a high degree of discretion.
Responsible for the day to day administration of the company’s compensation programs including job evaluation, FLSA determination, market comparisons, job description review and processing of changes to individuals salaries and structures.
Maintain knowledge of and analyze government regulations, compensation program trends, and prevailing practices within the market – geographic and industry-wide.
Monitors the effectiveness of existing compensation policies, guidelines and procedures implementing plan revision as well as new plans which are cost effective and consistent with compensation trends and corporate objectives.
Partner with the HR team in educating business leaders on compensation practices.
Develop communication plan of compensation information to all audiences.
Evaluate current job family structure and develop recommendations on enhancing the structure to support a scalable business.
Administer the merit review and incentive programs. Responsible for designing and overseeing rewards and recognition programs throughout company
Participate in annual salary surveys and benchmark existing positions to ensure market competitiveness.
Act as contributor to HR Department and assist all members of the department and Peoples, as needed.
Assist in the preparation of, and/or draft, documents, reports and analyses as requested (e.g., job descriptions, promotion letters, etc)
Education Level and Focus:
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field, from an accredited college or university required
CCP designation a plus.
Five to Seven years of experience in compensation administration.
Experience managing Executive Compensation, long-term incentive and short-term incentive programs.
Broad knowledge of compensation policies and procedures including FLSA and SEC regulations
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
Ability to research, collect, compile and analyze data
An independent thinker who possesses exceptional analytical, mathematical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional organizations such as WorldatWork or SHRM.
