About the Team
The Core Cash Management (CCM) Product Team is responsible for product strategy, development and commercialization of both high and low value payments services that J.P. Morgan delivers to Financial Institution, Non-Bank Financial Institution, Corporate and Commercial Bank clients globally. These services include Direct Clearing as well as Correspondent based settlement solutions to the client. Given the geographic footprint of the payment businesses, services and clients that the CCM team will support is deployed globally across the WHEM, EMEA and APAC regions. The team is also responsible for the long term wholesale payment strategy of growing markets, payment capabilities, and client services globally for all client segments.
About the Position
Process Reengineering & PMO lead across the Global Payments Strategy/CCM initiatives. This includes but is not limited to:
Global Payment Strategy and the migration of existing systems to the new global payment system.
Value Add buildout for payments inclusive of Optimizer, Track and Trace and Virtual Account Management.
Global build out of Real Time payments across the US, EMEA, APAC and Latam
Network expansion and partnerships to extend global mass pay to more currencies and pay types
Global Gateway to build a new third party portal, APIs and end to end ecommerce and marketplace client solutions
IIN to build out the future of correspondent banking and a new global banking network
Lead process reengineering across the program portfolio to understand how to accelerate delivery timelines - using a `lessons learned' approach
Own - with the global head of Payments Strategy, the CCM Program Manager, the CCM Change Program Managers, the regional Global Payments Product Leads, and the Payments Control Manager - to ensure executive management reporting on new product rollouts and migrations across the global regions align with the overall plan and regional regulatory requirements
This includes Governance processes, status and action tracking and reporting, annual planning process and forecasting, cross line of business tracking and reporting, and control forum reporting across compliance, risk, sanctions, GFCC, and legal. They will have responsibility for assuring timeliness and accuracy of materials managed across all change programs within the CCM product landscape.
The role includes extensive collaboration with, Operations, Product, Technology, Risk/Control, and Finance.
Skills / Experience
Process reengineering experience and expertise
Executive Management Reporting
End-to-end understanding of how the Global Clearing product teams operate and the associated terminology of how products work, how they are used by clients and how they interact with other Core Cash Management Services, an understanding of the external market, development of strong internal partnerships.
You will be able to demonstrate your proven experience within a Wholesale, Investment or Commercial bank, preferably in cash management.
Considerable previous experience in Program Management and the execution of reporting on large, global, complex projects.
You will be able to demonstrate that you are a strategic thinker with the ability to motivate and drive tactical and timely execution.
You will be able to give examples of presentation and influencing skills with internal partnerships
Extensive treasury management banking experience and product management payments experience a plus
Solid track record of success in developing and implementing reporting on large-scale initiatives
Experience with and/or prior collaboration with Sales, Operations, Technology, Compliance / Risk and Finance
Creative problem solver, capable of developing innovative and differentiated solutions
Superior presentation and communication skills and can sell self and ideas
Ability to proactively distribute thought expertise
Desire to win
Requires travel (15%)
Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power point
