GTRF Process Management Manager Global Trade and Receivables Finance Hang Seng's Global Trade and Receivables Finance is one of the most experienced providers of international trade services in Hong Kong. Should you join our Global Trade and Receivables Finance business, you will have an opportunity to become a business specialist in trade and receivables finance and expose yourself to various trade business modules. You will work closely with corporate customers to understand their trade needs, business uniqueness and competitive edge, to structure versatile and long-term trade financial solutions to meet their requirements and to build a close relationship with them.
We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as GTRF Process Management Manager
Project / process management
Work with the Process management section head to GTRF strategic initiatives and various business transformation activities
Coordinate the strategy, execution, management and reporting of all GTRF segments including rollout/maintenance of standard tools, targets, performance tracking, operating models, sales processes, people agenda and governance
Assist on digital initiatives drive for GTRF
Policy / procedure management
Review HSBC Group policy and procedures to ensure HASE GTRF having a good product, process, procedures and system compliance with early identification on gap (if any) and formulation of effective resolution or escalation of issues for management attention or decision. These include but not limited to review of Functional Instruction Manual and Global Operating Procedures relevant to GTRF on a regular basis
Implement, monitor and maintain the application of GTRF policies, governance frameworks, procedures, practices and standards to ensure quality, effective risk management and regulatory compliance. Communicate and liaise with global/local stakeholders to ensure a balance of compliance and practicality. Advise and communicate to staff on GTRF policies and procedures
Business related activities including but not limited to business risk management, operation excellence, business contingency, outsourcing of operations, restructuring, sales performance management, etc.
Build reputation and showcase for GTRF, including but not limited to awards application, business & strategy presentations, internal and external stakeholder liaison, etc.
University degree in Business Management, Banking, Finance or a related discipline
Minimum 5 years of experience in trade operations or banking, with substantial experience in drafting and implementing procedures
Competent project management and data analysis skills
Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
Good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
Good knowledge of MS Office (MS Word and Excel)
Proficiency in both English and Chinese
Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
