Bullis School seeks an innovative, energetic, and dedicated candidate for the role of Temporary Summer Human Resources Assistant to support the administrative HR functions for Bullis Summer Program employees and contractors.
This position will be responsible for on-boarding to ensure proper clearance for summer employees and contractors prior to their first day of work, utilization of the HR applicant tracking system, record entry and management in the payroll system, and creating and maintaining accurate personnel files for all summer employees.
This is a temporary position from May through August 31st, due to the nature of the position hours will fluctuate due to workload (between 20-40 hours/week), during May and June position will be 40 hours/week.
Required Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required
1-2 years prior experience working in an office setting or other relevant experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent education and experience
Prior experience in Human Resources is preferred
Notary Public preferred
Prior experience with ADP Workforce Now and Clear Company
Must be able to exchange accurate information in a professional manner with parents, faculty, staff, and other professionals
Ability to handle and maintain confidential information
Strong attention to detail
Ability to quickly gain high degree of competency in specialized database software
Ability to work effectively in with a team or independently in a fast paced and high-volume environment
