Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Coordinator, School Health.
In this role, the School Health Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Site Directors in tasks related to outreach and enrollment, quarterly reports, quality improvement, and certain continuing quality improvement and compliance responsibilities.
Attends and actively participates in the planning of the yearly School Health Advocacy Day trip to Albany.
Signs-off on purchase requests not to exceed $300.00.
Periodically (3x/yearly) reviews and updates Department of Education (DOE) consent forms as needed to address language needs.
Attends second interviews with potential candidates.
Assists with the implementation of new sites as well as ongoing review of existing sites.
Ensures utilization of OSCR and other DOE/DOH websites to improve program enrollment.
Assists in the coordination of continuing quality improvement (CQI).
Participates in the monthly Environment of Care meetings.
Attends monthly program meetings and assists with preparation of agenda and planning.
Assists in the coordination of the yearly Point Of Care Testing Validations for all Medical Associates (MAs).
Assists in the preparation of the quarterly and end of year reports.
Participates in outreach, enrollment efforts during school/parents related activities.
Reviews Sunrise laboratory billing to verify accuracy.
Coordinates outreach efforts with school sites to increase enrollment with those SBHCs below 75%.
Assists in the coordination of the by-yearly Basic Life Support training for Medical Providers and MAs.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
