Escrow Business Summary The Escrow business provides independent third party account solutions and is typically used to mitigate risks pertaining to an underlying transaction - mergers & acquisitions, debt capital markets or litigation. Position Summary The Escrow Sales will be responsible for developing the Escrow sales effort in Beijing. The key focus will be on enhancing our escrow business franchise in the region by increasing sales revenues and deal volume.
Key Accountabilities/Major Responsibilities:
Deliver agreed sales and revenue targets, by promoting escrow into intermediaries in Beijing, as well as partnering with Corporate and Investment Bank, Commercial Bank, and Private Bank businesses.
Manage the client facing tasks in Beijing from delivering presentations, product specific training and ongoing sales calls to acting as the local escalation point for client service issues.
Develop strong working relationship with China Country management teams to provide a 'joined up' approach in delivering sales targets and meeting client expectations. Conduct ongoing product training to internal teams.
Negotiate fees, terms and conditions and investment options on escrow deals, in conjunction with the regional product, client services and liquidity teams respectively.
Manage end-to-end structuring and execution of complex transactions.
Liaise with clients and colleagues globally to develop and sell cross-border solutions, targeting both incoming and outgoing flows from Beijing.
Identify capability gaps and specific local requirements to the product development team.

Graduate or undergraduate degree from a recognized university.
10+ years of international banking, cash management and/or escrow experience. Prior knowledge of the China M&A and PE markets will be an advantage.
