This position reports to the Financial & Administrative Operations Manager and is responsible for OHSU\u2019s compliance within the Subrecipient Monitoring function as regulated in Uniform Guidance, the federal regulation governing appropriate management of federal funds for sponsored projects. The Subaward Monitor independently analyzes financial statements, Single Audits, financial questionnaires and/or supplementary information for all of OHSU\u2019s subrecipients (other universities, companies, foreign entities, other government agencies etc\u2026) to determine appropriate risk level and necessary monitoring. The Subrecipient Monitor ensures subrecipients consistently meet all regulatory requirements included in 2 CFR 200 Uniform Guidance, annual Compliance Supplement, sponsor terms and conditions as well as OHSU policies by performing desk or on-site audits of financial and compliance transactions.
This position has the authority and responsibility to set restrictions on subrecipients and determine if OHSU should limit doing business with certain entities.
