Reporting to the Provost, the Director of Global Learning provides leadership and operational management for Lipscomb's internationalization goals. The Director is responsible for the University's Quality Enhancement Plan LIGHT, study abroad, international projects and programs, and assists the Provost with institutional partnerships.
As part of the academic leadership team, this position is the catalyst and central point of integration of global / cultural dimensions at Lipscomb. The Director promotes comprehensive internationalization as Lipscomb's academic champion. The role requires identification and development of new strategies and opportunities to successfully engage departments, faculty and students in all phases of the international teaching and learning experience.
The Director works closely with other college Deans at Lipscomb, international partner institutions and organizations to advance the growth and quality of Global Learning at the university.
