National Able Network recently acquired a new grant in Omaha, NE and has several professional opportunities for positions to start in early July. National Able Network, a dynamic and growing nonprofit agency specializing in the delivery of innovative employment and training programs, has an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager, One Stop to start effective 07/01/2019.
The Account Manager, One Stop is responsible for building new and maintaining current relationships with businesses for placement opportunities. Will work with a variety of internal and external individuals ranging from volunteers to management and must be capable of conveying information to people who are not always familiar with the program(s). Must assess, maintain and adjust program as necessary to ensure it is producing the desired outcome Conducts regular site visits to employers as well as to other workforce offices to provide in-depth education regarding hiring trends and to provide feedback on training programs available to clients and participants.
Maintains current and develops new relationships with businesses for related placement opportunities (accounts), gaining a full understanding of business objectives, employer skill-set needs
Identifies opportunities for, subsidized employment, paid work experience, and promotes solutions and cost effectiveness to target employers
Acts as a liaison between employers and the workforce system at large
Consults with employers on job profiles and potential candidates, ensuring that candidates are thoughtfully considered and compared against job requirements and desired qualifications, acting as a resource throughout the process
Collaborates with regional workforce system to provide potential candidates to employers
Keeps abreast of market trends pertaining to new technologies, hiring trends, certifications, and overall best practices within the industry
Utilizes various internet sites, social media, personal networks and knowledge-base to effectively manage resources
Cold calls businesses, assesses qualifications, technology and negotiate opportunities
Responsible for meeting weekly, monthly and annual goals per program requirements
Educates workforce system staff and participants about the industry, including hiring trends and program feedback
May oversee client progression through all steps of referral, enrollment, training, completion and employment advancement.
Participate in promoting various training services department and programs and recruiting suitable candidates
Works with appropriate staff to maintain and submit accurate, timely and complete data for internal and external reporting regarding clients’ progress through all phases of the program. Provides senior management with verifiable and timely data to make strategic decisions.

Knowledge or Experience:
Excellent communication (oral and writing) and interpersonal skills. Must be able to interact and develop rapport with a diversified population of business leaders, government agency personnel, funders, partners, staff, and clients.
Must be adept at developing rapport, interacting effectively, and when necessary, resolving conflicts with diverse personnel
Service-oriented, flexible, self–starter with a solid work ethic who can manage multiple priorities simultaneously and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Demonstrated computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or other employment database software systems used in workforce development programs
Superior problem-solving and organizational skills along with high attention to detail and consistent reliable follow-through
Prioritize and manage multiple projects to meet deadlines and achieve performance metrics.
Energetic, adaptable team player who can work collaboratively and autonomously.
Must be able to generate own employer leads from approved sources
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint required
Bachelor’s Degree OR 3+ years of relevant experience in the field
Minimum 2-4 years social service program management experience, ideally in an employment/training setting
A valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout surrounding areas
