Our client a global blue chip Asset Manager is currently looking to hire a talented and dynamic Project & Program Managers to join their high profile and growing team. Our client has a network of global offices in New York, Zurich, London, Boston, Dubai, Singapore and Sydney, and is well regarded globally for its award winning brand and performance.
Candidates must have the following:
- Full SDLC experience
- Program Managers have a min of 10 years experience
- Senior Project Managers have a min of 5-7yrs experience
- Must of worked on Financial Services or IT Projects or a combination of both.
.As a Project/Program manager you will be part of the team at the forefront of exciting transformational change. We will rely on you to implement what we know in a quick and efficient manner and to help understand what we don't yet know about the complexity of our projects. As such the duties and responsibilities will be far ranging. Creative problem solving is a must but the below gives some ideas of the tasks that we expect any experienced project manager to be able to jump in and do without being asked.
Ensure alignment of project goals with the Organisational Strategies and business directions.
When partnering with key business stakeholders, have the ability to define and agree project scope, goals and deliverables.
Develop detailed project plans that support business objectives.
Set up effective project governance and team structure.
Able to communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely fashion.
Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
Development of resource plans aligned with the overall plan (e.g. identify appropriate IT staff; use of third parties; non-IT resources).
Responsible for the overall management, execution and delivery of the program including managing program; scope, resources, risks & issues, schedule and budget.
Coordinate and manage the project dependencies to meet the Program objectives.
Able to communicate program expectations to stakeholders in a timely fashion.
Plan and schedule the overall program timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
Enable effective collaboration & communication between projects, governing committees and stakeholders
Ability to critically review Project/ Program deliverables, ensuring that they are fit for purpose.
