COREUSA is a new educational initiative that is transforming Economics education in US colleges and high schools. Based in the Economics Department at Barnard College, Columbia University, short-term goals include crafting and rolling out a US edition of CORE Economics Education's introductory curriculum for Economics (www.core.econ.org). In the longer-term, the aim is to radically improve learning outcomes for students studying economics and to increase diversity of background and diversity of career pursuits among students pursuing an Economics degree.
Reporting to the COREUSA Directors, the part-time coordinator will help organize annual workshops and will be in charge of duties such as overseeing communications for CORE in the US.
Required Qualification Summary:
Experience managing budgets
Proficiency in use of electronic calendaring, web publishing, google drive, and excel.
Greater availability during the two-weeks prior to the workshop.
